What Is Derma Rolling

Micro needling becomes increasingly popular as an easy to use anti aging skin rejuvenating treatment.  The technology behind the method, it is a natural healing response of your body to invisible mechanical micro channels caused by tiny needles penetrating the epidermis. Usable on the face and body the 540 needle skin roller can help cut back and soften pimples or surgical scars, diminish the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks, scale back large pores, clean heavy pitted skin, and assist in reversing the results of sun damage.  The roller stimulates blood flow to the surface and promotes the production of missing collagen, resulting in pores and skin rejuvenation, greater elasticity, tightening and thickening of the skin.

After rolling use a good quality product (cream or oil), like products with Retinol, favored by dermatologists for decades, enhances cell turnover to improve skin texture and minimize the appearance of pores., so after rolling the skin will absorb 84% of that product - compared to 4% without skin needling.

Does Skin Tone Affect Aging

Does skin tone affect aging, the answer is yes. The color of your skin does contribute to how your skin reacts to the environment and how quickly it ages. Typically, the darker your complexion, the better able your skin is to resist environmental assaults and the more slowly it ages.  However, all skin types are affected by the sunrays in a negative way to various degrees.  Not everyone ages at the same rate.

Here are Some Disadvantages on How Different Skin Tones Age

·         Dark and medium toned skin has a denser population of pigment melanin, which produces uneven discoloration from sun exposure.  Whereas, light toned skin is prone to sunburn.

·         Lighter skin has more of a tendency to wrinkle from environmental exposer, dark and medium toned skin after trauma is more prone to dark marks and it can take awhile to fade.

·         Dark and medium toned skin is more prone to scars and light toned skin is susceptible to facial redness and broken capillaries usually from rosacea.

Skin ages in two ways:  Intrinsically and Extrinsically.

·         Intrinsic is the biological aging that includes factors like ethnicity, genetics, and health.  This accounts for 20% of the visible aging process and under your control.  So healthy skin has more to do with what you do with it than your genetics.

·         Extrinsic aging accounts to 80% of your appearance and is also under your control. This includes factors like diet, alcohol intake, smoking, and sun exposure.

The good news is you can reverse many common signs of aging and take control of the destiny of your skin.  By choosing the right products, having the right attitude, and taking charge of a lifestyle changes.

What Is Acne

Primary Precursor of acne:

·         Genetics

·         Hormones: increase oil production which clogs pores and stress increases hormones

Triggers of acne:

·         Environmental aggessors

·         Stress

·         Cosmetics

·         Medication

·         Mechanical Friction

·         Hormone Fluctuations

How does it occur?
Acne is caused by inflammation or infection of the oil glands in the skin and at the base of hairs. In the teenage years, hormones stimulate the growth of body hair, and the oil glands secrete more oil. The skin pores become clogged and bacteria grow in the clogged pores. When the body works to kill the bacteria, whiteheads, blackheads, and pustules form in these areas.

Stress, birth control pills, and too little rest can make acne worse.

What are the symptoms?
The symptoms of acne are:
• whiteheads, which are closed plugged oil glands
• blackheads, which are open plugged oil glands (the oil turns black when it's exposed to the air)
• pustules, which are red, inflamed, infected plugged oil glands, sometimes filled with pus.

Some pimples may be painful. In severe cases, cysts (large fluid-filled bumps) may develop under the skin.

Acne Statistics

·         85-90% of teenagers suffer from acne for 7 years

·         30-50% of adult women suffer from acne for 20 years

·         50 million people in the United States suffer from acne

One Pimple Means You Have Acne

What is a pimple? Skin Care Facts for Men and Women

Pimples are clogged and infected pores. Pores can become clogged from a number of reasons, but primary reasons include excessive production of sebum, irregular shedding of dead skin cells and a process called keratinization. Keratinization occurs when sebum, exposed to the air, hardens and forms a plug in the pore. Get more details here on the best acne solution for teen and adults by clicking on link below:
